Material Register

Is your material register compliant with the Global Harmonisation System (GHS) and the newly imposed 2017 OHS regulations?

We can assess your ability to document all related Safety Data Sheets and their associated hazards. We work closely with your team to embed appropriate controls and storage systems to safe guard the school and students.

Emergency Management

We work closely with your organisation to ensure your emergency management plan complies with the AS 3745. Based on your specific circumstances, we provide tailored documentation and implementation strategies to ensure all stakeholders know what to do in an emergency.

We additionally offer comprehensive design services to provide directional maps and informative signage.

Safe Work & Operational Procedures

If your organisation or school works with any type of plant, then you need to ensure formal training and instruction is provided. Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Safe Operational Procedures (SOP) provide the basis of instruction and highlight the necessary personal protective equipment required.

We assess all onsite plant, its compliance requirements, and provide a detailed Safe Work/Operating Procedure in compliance with the Work and Occupational Health and Safety Acts.

Workplace Ergonomics

Workplace ergonomics covers a broad field of activities. Although most relate ergonomics to chairs and workstations, ergonomics provides guidance on all workplace activities.

As good ergonomics is good economics, we aim to ensure your organisation or school provides safe workplace procedure and processes. We can assess work stations, manual handling devices, lighting conditions, and environments subject to excessive noise and vibration. Our reports additionally provide you with recommendations based on appropriate controls and improvement strategies.

Security Management

The characteristics of security management can be diverse. For most, security relates to the physical security of people, property and information. However, security management involves responses to social and political process, communication within an organisation, and the holistic approach to mitigate risk.

We work with schools and organisations to assess their security requirements. We assess your needs and project management the implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure the security of people, property and information. We additionally provide ongoing support and training to all stakeholders to ensure uptake of the new workplace procedures.

OHSEM Awareness

We help organisations and schools understand the purpose of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management concepts. We provide highly engaging and interactive professional development that breaks down the OHS act, regulations and the codes of practice / compliance codes into simple language. Key learning includes employee rights, duty of care, learning space design, working conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise etc.) and more. Sessions can also be used to highlight the legal requirements of duty holders within the organisation or school including Principal class, leading teachers and those with special responsibilities.

In most circumstances, information sessions can be scheduled to suit the organisation's requirements.

Plant Register

The registration and ongoing maintenance of plant is an important aspect of monitoring risk within the workplace. We work closely with schools and organisations to assist them in the purchasing of plant, completing specific task based risk assessments, and project managing the annual maintenance to plant.

Our services can additionally assist organisations and schools in the development of workshop facilities including Technologies (timber, metal, plastics, and textiles), STEM / STEAM, DATS and Science.

Workshop Design

We have extensive experience in the design, fit-out and refurbishment of workshop spaces including those for Technologies, STEM / STEAM, Visual Arts, DATS and Science. We provide consultancy services to assist schools and organisations to develop functional spaces for the production of products and development of vocational trades.

Quality Management

All organisations and schools struggle with consistency in policy and procedure. Total quality management systems aim to enhance the customer satisfaction through the effective application of the organisation's systems.

We work with schools and organisations to improve their performance to consistently provide services that meet their customer's needs and any applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Change Management

Systemic change in schools and organisations is a difficult process. Change involves many complex aspects including sense-making, psychological adjustment, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and transformational change.

We work with organisations and schools to identify their road-blocks and the circumstances behind them. We apply developmental analysis to identify change management strategies. We then work with the leadership team and various stakeholders to facilitate change and continual improvement.
