Are Your emergency management
plans & maps up-to-date?
Will your staff and students be ready for an emergency?
Emergency management is designed to keep people safe through clear communication, standardised procedures and the continual improvement process. Ideally, every school should have their emergency plans and maps regularly updated to meet the AS 3745:2010. They should also practise their emergency procedures three to four times a year.
If your school does not currently meet this standard, it might be time to review your procedures and talk to a professional OHS consultant.
